Organizations needing a different date can request a private or group session.

What Adult MHFA teaches

Notice concerns. Respond with care. Connect people to help.

Practical initial support

Adult Mental Health First Aid teaches learners how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance-use challenges.

Learners practice an action plan for approaching someone, listening without judgment, offering reassurance, and encouraging appropriate professional, peer, or community support.

Clear role boundaries

Mental Health First Aid does not train learners to diagnose, provide therapy, or replace emergency or clinical services.

It builds confidence to recognize possible concerns, respond appropriately, and support connection to further help.
